Think Negative
Think Negative is an annual, fundraising, HIV/AIDS social awareness project held in commemoration of World Aids Day.
The objective of Think Negative Campaign is to create awareness about HIV/AIDS and its possible causes, prevention of the disease mitigation of impact of HIV/AIDS in Trinidad and Tobago, care and support of Trinidadians infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and elimination of stigma and discrimination attached with HIV and to promote STAYING NEGATIVE.
The Think Negative campaign intention is to reach out to high-risk and low and middle income communities. Various awareness programmes will be organized to sensitize men, women and children with the motive to check their status and to make information readily available to everyone at all times.
The purpose is to also remind individuals of the many information outlets and outreach programmes specifically created to lend support and access care, treatment and rehabilitation. Grassroots awareness campaigns such as these are extremely effective in spreading messages that will save lives in Trinidad and Tobago and allowing living with the virus a whole lot more comfortable , socially acceptable and safe.
